about

"Someday" is the third self-released single by The Greyhound Factory, out on Monday 8th April 2019. This single follows on from their previous release "New Year's Eve" in December 2018 - A track which earnt them a spot on BandRec's Top Indie Bands of 2018 as well as the You Haven't Heard This Music podcast's track of the week.

"Someday" has gained the support of BBC Introducing with Tom Simkins adding: “Really great musical blend of americana-indie-rock, almost Gin Blossoms-esque. It’s a really great sound, I’m a big, big fan.”

While "New Year's Eve" ticked the boxes of an indie-pop-rock track and drew on the groups inspiration from The Cure and Elvis Costello, "Someday" leans towards their appreciation of Americana, particularly Sprinsteen's "Badlands" album. "Someday" is a track about being unable to escape from what you can't control.
