The Greyhound Factory are an English-Americana powerpop band from Hertford, UK. The band is made up of Ryan Davies (vocals and guitar), Harry Butler (guitar), Dan Munday (bass) and Kevin Carter (drums). They formed in 2016 after coming together from other musical projects and sharing interests in music like Big Star, Edwin Starr and Ringo Starr. They plan to release several singles in 2018, the first of which is "Genie and the Gun" which was recorded in Ryan's basement home studio and mastered by Kevin Paul (David Bowie, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds). The release of "Genie and the Gun" also coincides with an accompanying video produced by Kelly Southby, which features a special live version of the song and with clips taken from a show at the Pack and Carriage in Camden, London. Please note that as of the date of this release, currently, the drummer has the best hair.
